Bakhtin, V. N. Volochínov and P. Medviédev; (2) the Circle’s writings from different periods, with demarcation of different stages of the production; (3) the questioning of Bakhtin’s role as the mentor of the Circle; (4) the German philosophy as the main source of the group.
