People see the world in different ways. This is how different artistic representations are created. Artists show their own interpretation and promote reflection in the interlocutor. The object of this study is multimodal corpora, drawings by a contemporary Brazilian artist. For the analysis, adopting the French semiotic theory of Greimas (1973) as a line of research, we present the research of authors who conceptualize the generative path of meaning and its levels. For the study of semi-symbolic objects, Pietroforte (2020, 2021) and, for visual semiotics, Floch (1993). The aim of this work is to study the semiotic process and the categories of plastic semiotics present in the selected corpora. The purpose of the analysis is to understand the relevance of the social denunciations present in the works. The methodology is qualitative, bibliographical and corpora analysis. This work is yet another example of how any textual material can become an object for semiotic analysis. We were able to analyze semisymbolism, as well as presenting the reflections in the drawings. This article ends with the perspective that images are very rich works and provide a reflection on being human and occupying a place in the world.
