Abstract

Among reflections incited by globalization, this article intends to bring to discussion the impasse that has been reached on the subject between those who struggle to validate universal truths and those who deny the possibility of universalisms on defense of a relativist, particularistic and located view. The “politics of the subject”, supported by the strength of communication, solidarity and democracy, is being pointed to be a possible way to face that impasse.
