Abstract

The analysis of the mass media project in Argentina, conceptually speaking, brings the double challenge of trying 1) to define the media society in spite of the multiple readings and focuses that surround the project, really a set of projects, and 2) to implement it in a country that is not in the center of such project. This construction of the media society happens when the social and economic gaps in Argentina are encreasing and their effects are, therefore, far from beeing positive.
