Abstract

This article begins with the presentation of Niklas Luhmann and how he started to be interested in sociology, it also points out important aspects of his theory such as the interdisciplinarity and the complexity. Then it tries to present some of the important points of the theory of the systems ,such as the epistemological obstacles, the systems types and characteristics, and the meaning of irritation and communication in Luhmann. Finally some of the concepts previously seen are used in the political system to try to understand their relation with society.
