Abstract

The objective of this article focuses on musical artistic arrangements in the circuits of circulation and reception of audiovisual symbolic goods. The purpose is to examine the mediations that affect the mutual intertwining of the adoption of visibility strategies by different profiles of artistic individuals with the taking of positions in relation to issues involving morality and the legitimization of symbolic goods. The analytical emphasis will be on the encounter between Madonna, Anitta and Pablo Vittar, at the concert by the American singer Madonna, which took place on May 4th, on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro. The proposal, ultimately, is to situate this encounter between what I define as visibility/legitimation arrangements.
