Time, life and narrative
Keywords:
Language, Narrative, Time, Life,Abstract
This article aims to develop a discussion on the analysis of narratives, touching different theoretical perspectives about language and reflecting on the relationship between time, life and narrative. For the purpose of this analysis, the paper is divided in three parts. The first part presents a discussion that questions the language as an autonomous system and places it as a human condition. The second part deals more specifically with the narratology, trying to understand what elements characterize a narrative. The third part discusses the narrative analysis or how personal narrative can be used by social sciences as information on the search process. And the forth part of the paper develops a philosophical reflection about the relationship between narrative, time and life. Finally, the text also includes a concern about the meaning of scientific work. When talking about the hermeneutic spin, the text raises the problem of the truth of facts and admits that the scope of our thinking, already permeated by the language, is always a version of facts built from a point of view.
