Abstract

According to the analyses in the paper, globalization is a stage of development of the capitalism whose singularity consists in beeing a phenomenon which demands not only the productive re-structuration of the labour processes but also a greater freedom of action of the capital. Globalization, productive re-structuration and neoliberalism are, therefore, na articuled and organic whole in which those moments keep between them a certain logical hierarchy. Based on this, the autor points out the class dimension of globalization and the worsening of the situation of the working class who sees its possibilities of resistance and political organization fade away.
