Políticas de ciência e tecnologia e reestruturação produtiva: o caso brasileiro

Abstract

This article deals with the new policies related to science and technology in Brazil and tries to discuss the impact of the various forms of management and assistance of science and technology in the 90’s. The analysis has as its main themes the insertion of Brazil as a semiperipheric nation in the process of world globalization, the tendencies of the world neoliberal organization, which has been outlined since the 80’s, and the existing relation, at international level, between the capacity of producing (new) knowledge and the economic and political power.
