Abstract

This paper presents part of the research results on the political thinking-doing of voters without party affiliation living in a small city in the countryside of São Paulo. The research aimed to perceive the relationship between the symbolic goods produced and conveyed by the media field devices on the disputes and dynamics of the national political field and how the consumer agents of these symbolic goods construct their perceptions before the municipal and national political scenario. By resulting in the production of a relational knowledge about the political thinking-doing of these voters, this research allows us to present the political sense as an expression of a political practice that is beyond the idea of a simple manipulation by the media field devices or the national political field.
