Abstract

This article analyzes the fictional production of Evandro Affonso Ferreira, pointing out, for this purpose, the themes of death and melancholy, which are treated in his novels from the subjectivation of everyday experiences. As theoretical basis, this article uses the relationships between literature and psychoanalysis, highlighting the analysis of his novel O mendigo que sabia de cor os adágios de Erasmo de Rotterdam.
