Abstract

This paper is a critical reading of the novel La casa de los conejos, by Laura Alcoba, published in 2006 and originally entitled Manèges: petite histoire argentine and translated to Spanish by Leopoldo Brizuela in 2008. Our interest is to reflect on the place of the writer regarding, on the one hand, how she started the narration of her argentine childhood and, on the other, how she reported the experience of being a survivor of what was the last argentine military dictatorship, which took place in the late 70s.
