Abstract

This article discusses some theoretical problems intrinsically proposed by the narrator of Notes from the Underground as complex paradoxes. The topics that were examined were: the representation of written memories as “anti-literature”, the ambivalence of the narrative mode and the deliberate and explicit erasure of the author/ father of the text.
