Literature, feminism and dictatorship: new ways to criticize and read novels written by women during the Brazilian dictatorship

This article aims is to discuss the female authorship of novels written during the Brazilian dictatorship, because, as we know, artistic movements were an important form of protesting against the military regime. Because of this, this work intends to emphasize the feminism as an important aesthetic component of engaged novels in two ways: as a weapon against the dictatorship and as a form of contesting the patriarchal system.Downloads
