Ocupação irregular do solo urbano e sustentabilidade: os processos de regularização fundiária no município de Paranaíba-SP

Abstract

This work aims to study the process of urban land regularization in Paranaíba-MS, based on the concepts of irregular occupation of urban land and sustainability. For this, a bibliographic and documentary research was carried out, with a qualitative approach, using the deductive method. It is justified by the need to provide regularity of urban property, ensuring legal security of possession for people and enabling the creation and maintenance of a pristine and healthy urban environment. It was concluded that, despite the goodwill of public agents and the speed with which it occurred, there are issues that still require time for its conclusion, among them, the environmental challenges which, although complex, can be addressed through the REURB Law.
