Abstract

This analysis is part of a research about the National Policy on Microcredit in government Luís Inácio Lula da Silva, through which we read the microcredit as a public policy aimed at generating work / employment and income. Thus, microcredit is not addressed as a purely economic issue, but as a government program that represents a social character design implemented via financial markets. The theoretical analysis is inspired on the markets and institutional approaches in economic sociology studies on credit and finance.
