Abstract

This article presents an analysis of difficulties and potentialities for the performance of an unemployed workers movement and workers in precarious working conditions, from a qualitative research with the Movimento de Trabalhadores Desempregados do Rio Grande do Sul (Unemployed Workers Movement of Rio Grande do Sul), taking into account the historical context of their training and development, the motivations of its activists(,) its base and the characteristics of its members.
