REPENSANDO O ECODESIGN NO CAMPO CTS: UMA PESQUISA QUALITATIVA NAS FEIRAS DE ECONOMIA SOLIDÁRIA EM SANTA CATARINA

Abstract

The aim of this research was to understand how design was re-elaborated in order to face the contradictions of capitalist industrial society, configuring itself as a new technoscience of an engaged nature, according to the assumptions of the Science, Technology and Society (STS) field. Seeking to answer the question: How to change to an engaged ecodesign in the light of Bruno Latour in a context of Solidarity Economy? To this end, the following specific objectives were necessary, which are: 1 – To approach ecodesign in a STS context; 2 – To present part of the collection of qualitative data already achieved, illustrated by images of a Popular Fair of Solidarity Economy in the City of Joinville - Santa Catarina. 3 – To analyze the preliminary data considering ecodesign from the STS perspective and its approach to the solidarity economy, in the socio-technical conditions of creation, production and realization. Using the exploratory research methodology of a qualitative nature, It was a preliminary approach to the object (observation, records and listening), which allowed the collection of some findings, such as: Differences in the process of articulation and organization of the fairs; some similarities, such as female protagonism, engagement in social causes and awareness of sustainability.
