Abstract

This article presents the hyperdiagram as an innovative method for conceptual modeling in the fields of cognitive science and psychology, with applications also in anthropology, philosophical ethics, and literary hermeneutics. Grounded in a diagrammatic conception, the hyperdiagram offers a formal model to structure dynamics of meaning construction and organization of natural human language in a visual and dynamic way. Moreover, the model incorporates the temporal dimension (time/memory), allowing for the analysis of the evolution of concepts and values over time. We introduce quasi-empiricism as a hybrid methodology to integrate interpretative narratives and structural data, expanding the possibilities of analytical experimentation. This interdisciplinary conception seeks to capture the conceptual interrelations underlying thought and communication, contributing to the integration of symbolic representations, cognitive structure, and processes of cultural transformation. In the context of applied semiotics, the hyperdiagram functions as a device for modeling semiotic dynamics, enabling the formalization of interpretative and discursive processes in a multidimensional space.
