Remember Sartre in his birthday centenary

Abstract

This text registers a brief report of the intellectual and political life of the great French philosopher J.P.Sartre (1905-1980) in his birthday centenary. From Existencialism and his intense participation in the Marxist activism, Sartre left us a very important cultural and political heritage. For sure no other philosopher represented better than him the hopes and anxieties of the European intellectual in the 20^th century, totally compromised with the liberal cause.
