Abstract

The focus of this paper is the relation between the new technological communication and information (NTCI) and the contemporary capitalistic configuration and it defends the idea of a information society, which ended up in a ideology as far as it sustains a project that gives technology its own dynamics. Seeing that invention only becomes innovation when the market accepts it, we can assume that the new communication equipments represent the continuity of the previous capitalistic conditions, even though they can be driven to a new direction with collective and social purposes.
