Abstract

This article analyses the requalification process of the work forces that began with the introduction of new computer/ing technology in the core of the production process, and its object is the Programas de Qualidade Total. Considering that the real capitalistic logic of incorporated value tends to replace creativity by machines; and considering that such bias produces a reification of creativity by means of a crystallization of its qualities in technology, the computer automated information applied to production is analysed as an exaggerated form of this phenomenon when it enables the expropriation and appropriation, by and for the capital, of the intellectual and cognitive abilities of human work. Thus, this article intends to bring elements for a critical discussion of the role of Education in the building of the new profile for this new worker.
