One hundred years of solitude and development in Latin America
Keywords:
Development, Hermeneutics, Literature, Gabriel Garcia Marquez,Abstract
The present work is an exercise in interpretation of some dimensions of Latin America, from the novel One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. It is based on the hermeneutic proposed by Paul Ricoeur to interpret / reframe the world of the novel. In this way, we intend to re-contextualize such works and, through his theories, to analyze the impacts and changes that economic development causes on an imaginary community and, through such analysis, find an interpretation of Latin America.Downloads
