Abstract

In the contemporary novel Divórcio, the author, the narrator and the protagonist are named Ricardo Lísias. And this nomination, applied to what is considered a distinctive instances of romance genre, is only the most noticeable aspect of the indetermination in the story. By using various text genres close to the biographical space, which Diana Klinger names as “autobiographic constellation”, such as diary, emails, pictures, notes and testimonies, what Lísias does is a reiteration of the deadlock. The purpose of this paper is to analyze those questions.
