In surch of the lost link: solidarity in the postmodern world

Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze in which way the changes caused for modernity and postmodernity reflected in the way of the individuals interrelate. The analysis is performed in the light of Bauman, Beck and Habermas’ texts where each author discuss the theme under different focus and search for the way to build a world less individualist and more cosmopolitan. Furthermore, think about what would be the sociology role in this process.
