Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to make a brief analysis of the ideas of the contemporary sociologist Zygmunt Bauman about the changes occurred in the society after the advent of modernity up to the current condition by the eyes of Social Sciences and its perspectives. From the phenomenological-hermeneutic approach, it looked to characterize the circumstances of the transition of the solid modernity do the liquid modernity and its implications on XXI century’s economy and culture.
