Abstract

The presence of factors that intervene with the welfare human do the definition of the quality of life of the people; the voice is one of these factors. The aim of this paper is to compare vocal quality of educators (public infantile education) and indices of quality of life and voice. It had participated of this study 93 teachers, whose permit that a vocal sample was register to establish vocal quality with a perceptual-auditory analysis by GRBASI scale; to observe the relation of voice and quality of life the teachers responses a questionnaire standardized of quality of life and voice, to establish the vocal impact in the routine of these professionals. Its was possible to observe that the majority of the educators presented voice disorders from discrete to severe grades, and reference of interference of the voice in the quality of life in all the types of voices occurred. Than the voice seams to be an element of quality of life of the educators.
