Case study: the psychopedagogical clinic in search of a good school performance

This Project shows results of the analysis of the case of a child who had difficulties to learn. The main problems were the child’s difficulty on following the text and on writing dictations, besides exchange of the letters f and v, confusion with the letters m and n and slow velocity of learning. The child had been diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Firstly, the child frequented special education classes, then, went to a common class. The psychopedagogical evaluation of the child analyzed the learning difficulties based on cognitive, fond, behavioral and psycholinguistical aspects. The intention was to obtain a global comprehension of the way of learning of the child as well as the detours on learning process and scholar adaptation. The goal of the evaluation was to diagnose and create an intervension strategy to rebuilt the meaning of learning, what allows the determination of an intervension that involves the child, the family and the school. Thus, the psychopedagogical analysis broght many benefits for the child as the rescue of the learning potential and the awakening for the learning success.
