Abstract

Nowadays, many national and international changes are occurring. Once it affects everything, schools are not exceptions. In this work, among several educational ways on following these changes, the politic of school inclusion must be highlighted. Thus, my attempt is to bring a systematization of some legal references related to school inclusion of children who have special educational necessities in common classes. This was really important during the research of this reality in Araraquara city in 2001. As a result, it could be noticed that the politic of inclusion of these students on common classes happens on state schools that belong to the teaching network of Araraquara. This data shows that formal school inclusion is a reality for physical, mental, auditory and visual deficient people on Araraquara region. This nomenclature is widely used by schools and teacher causing them insecurity and opening possibilities for new paths on research.
