Abstract

This is a work based on experiences and learning of the community therapists of ECCOSocial da Região Serrana. They worked with communities who were facing the consequences of the biggest weather event occurred in Nova Friburgo city, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, on January 12, 2011. Aims to encourage reflexive evaluation of the practice of Integrative Community Therapy in unpredictable situations like disasters and catastrophes, inviting everyone to analise patterns and also to identify what can be learned with acting to transform and grow.
