The National Social Assistance Policy (PNAS) Brazilian in 2004 proposes that assistance be deployed as a social protection policy to consider the scale of the risks and vulnerabilities present in people’s lives, as well as the resources and capabilities that have to deal the challenges of existence. This article aims to discuss the contributions of Integrative Community Therapy (ICT) for the implementation of Protective Services and Specialized Care to Families and Individuals (PAEFI), developed in the Specialized Reference Centers of Social Assistance (CREAS). For this, we used as reference the TCI chats taken in CREAS Samanbaia-DF, between 2014/2015, totaling 18 meetings. This study of qualitative approach was carried out by recording the chats and cataloging the issues and coping strategies presented by the community. The results obtained show that the chats contributed to the objectives of PAEFI, such as: community life, creating a network of support and the strengthening of family ties in the context of acceptance and non-judgment.
