Abstract

In recent years, teachers and school have gained prominence over family in children’s education. Most researches on the subject concluded that those changes in social organization and teachers’ work contribute to create an unhealthier and more hazardous working environment for teachers. This study seeks to determine whether the Integrative Systemic Community Therapy (ISCT) can be used to evaluate the conditions of teachers’ work, both in the city of Uberaba and in Brazil. Ten sessions of ISCT were carried out in ten schools in Uberaba-MG with the objective to identify the main problems on the teachers’ perspective. Considering both the data of ISCT sessions and researches on teachers’ health, it is possible, ISCT is a tool to better asses and tackle those issues.
