As igrejas pentecostais no contexto urbano araraquarense: dados de uma pesquisa etnográfica

Abstract

The article intends to focus on the relationship between Pentecostalism and urban context. It still shows the religious competition in a middle-sized city in São Paulo state. It presents several comments about four Pentecostal churches in Araraquara (São Paulo' State). It can be considered an ethnographic research. The concern was to show a new face of the Pentecostal church, therefore, neo Pentecostal. As results, the article shows how the Interpentecostal religious market is in Araraquara and their compeütion.
