Abstract

The MST (Landless Workers Movement) started to have has been died in confrontation with the police at Eldorado dos Carajás, Para. This fact had great national and international repercussion, motivating initiatives from the artists, foreign NOGs, television network and governmental departments, this text is to discute how the MST and the land reform themes are treated by the medias, in especial the television, and the possibilities of use of the documentary video as way of political resistence by members of the movement.
