Abstract

The election of Nestor Carlos Kirchner (Justicialista Party) for Argentine Presidency can be seen as a conclusion of a social process against the neoliberal model. It began in 1999 with the victory of Fernando de la Rúa (Radical Civic Union). However, this process had no conditions to continue without undergo changes during its way. Of this form, the view of the impoverishment of Argentine and the aggravation of the conditions of life population that it reached all social classes appear what Durkheim (2002) classified as "Morbid State". Like this collective awareness rescuing the Iberian tradition, observed for Vianna (1997), that translates in the search ot identity in a recent past that will be used for the construcion of a new social base.
