Theoretical formulation and empirical research: on the concepts of habitus and reflexividade

The central theme of this paper is the nature of the relationship between the theorical formulation and empirical research, tacking into account the frontiers of the social sciences and the various equations developed by classical authors to this question. Such a discussion is done through the analysis of theoretical and methodological fundamentals of Bourdieu, through the demonstration of the meanings of the concept of habitus and reflexividade for research in Sociology.
