Abstract

The theme of sociability is highlighted in sociological debates with specific approaches for specific historical context. Thus, social ties can be seen under a multitude of references. The following article deals with theoretical issues related to sociability, revisiting core ideas of Ferdinand Tönnies and Émile Durkheim. The concepts of community and society, presented by Tönnies and Durkheim ian questioning about the solidarity that came from the division of labor, are central analytical categories to this study.
