Abstract

The theme Developmentalism, Modernization and Social Theory, motivated the development of this article, which studied authors were Fernando Henrique Cardoso and Octávio Ianni. The proposal is discuss the engagement and the political actions of business owners and entrepreneurs in economies underdeveloped in the explanation of search activity business in market conditions and the type of social Brazilian entrepreneur. The debate will take into account the political momentum for the development of society analysis and arguments to be presented, deepening on issues such as the relationship between entrepreneurs and capitalism, its performance in the underdeveloped economies and economic development through national policy.
