Abstract

The article addresses the issue of work from the female engagement. Is organized as follows: a brief overview about the work and its social relevance, conceptualization of gender and women’s work, the changing world of work, organizational culture environment in military police and sexual division of labor, development, beyond the issues the recognition of women’s work. It was possible to consider the issues that binds the recognition of women police work have many nuances and are deeply situated in the perception that society has of work performed by women.
