Abstract

In the present work, a study about linguistic interference in Chinese students of English and Spanish is proposed. Especially looking for the influence that English may have had, such as L2, in Spanish, as L3. To carry out the research, we have taken as a sample a group of Chinese E/LE students who are doing a pre-university year in Spain and have compared their productions with a group of American university students, also Spanish students (although in this case this language is L2), who made a one-semester stay in the same country. The errors of each one have been compared to be able to extract which ones are influenced by English and the degree of influence of this language in the learning of E/LE of the syllables.
