Death, according to common sense, is the only thing certain in life, however, is still difficult to get people talking, studying or researching about it, or is still considered taboo in many societies, may cause various emotional impacts. We will consider it under two aspects: the social death experienced by those who do not play an active role in society and develop feelings of anonymity and exclusion, and physical death in the face of its various concepts and determinants. We understand the grief process as a set of reactions that follow a significant loss, there is always a way of ending life or relationship and has several phases. This article presents the importance to bring this discussion, because we have as we approach life without regard to death, dying and bereavement in the process of life cycle. In our experience, whether as community therapists, trainers and researchers, we could perceive that this is a recurring theme in the wheels of Community Therapy and our concerns arose from questions of how much we are prepared to deal with it because there is a huge number of people who show attitudes of denial or avoidance when it comes to death. Our objective is to rescue characteristics of our culture that can help us in tackling this issue with the goal not only explain it or to understand it, but to help people cope with it in a healthier and less traumatic.
