This article is an account of experience of practice as a training and intervenient community therapists. The study aimed to present evidence and reflections on the importance of contact with the “wounded inner child” of the community therapist, so that it can recognize and understand its manifestations in current relationships. The methodology was theoretical and experiential, developed in monthly interveniences in Integrative Community Therapy in Londrina, Paraná, to take care of the person of the community therapist. The intervenience sessions happened during year 2013, totaling 10 meetings. The average was 25 participants. As a result of this work, it was created a deeper contact with the “inner child” of each participant, which allowed the adult, embrace your inner needs, stimulate the process of individuation, as well as understand and accept his/her past bringing him/her strength to face the challenges of the present.Downloads
