INTEGRATIVE COMMUNITY THERAPY (TCI) IN PARANÁ: AN ETHNIC PLANET IN EACH CHAT CIRCLE

Abstract

This study aimed to point out the main events that marked the emergence of Integrative Community Therapy (TCI) in the State of Paraná and its expansion, as well as highlighting the main ethnicities that gave rise to the people of Paraná and the cultural legacy for the chat circles. This study was enriched by interviews, reports and records of chats participants and community therapists from the training centers of Paraná. A historical review of cultural traditions and TCI was carried out, based on literature, newspapers, institutions related to TCI and the story of the characters who are part of the history of TCI in that State. The result was a deeper look at the elements of culture used in the chats, as well as a more conscious perception of the ethnic influences of this "Paraná cultural broth” composed of diverse ethnic groups, mainly by immigrants, as well as Indians and Negroes.
