Abstract

Humans, in general, seek to maintain a state of total balance and adaptation to the environment in which they live. Seek diverse sources of support to try to overcome their difficulties, relieve their pain, finally, to survive. And indeed support networks, professionals from various fields, community, church, among others, seek to collaborate to the fullest so that they can overcome life’s obstacles in order to prevent that suffering is a permanent install. As is the case of our community support team, whose work is dedicated to the rescue of self-esteem, personal care, to overcome the difficulties, relief from the anguish and suffering, for the development of individual skills, among others. We used as instruments of labor to Community Therapy, the Technical Rescue Caring for the Caregiver’s self-esteem adapted playfully, as the play provides the stimulation of communication skills, socialization, development of affectivity, identity, body expression, increased self-esteem, among many other benefits. We work on a project called: Stimulating Reading with the Arts, which serves children from seven to 14 years and their parents or guardians with schedules and groups previously established. The work is in development for a year and used as parameters of evaluation of the results achieved so far, the speech of the participants expressed at each meeting during the time of sharing that so far have been positive connotation.
