Tendo em vista a globalização e as novas exigências para o ensino e a comunicação com o uso de diferentes e eficientes tecnologias digitais e inovadoras metodologias de ensino que facilitem a aprendizagem das línguas estrangeiras, os trabalhos dentro da área da Linguística Aplicada, como ciência inter/transdisciplinar e intercultural que identifica, examina e propõe reflexões e possíveis soluções para problemas ou questões relacionadas à língua/linguagem em um determinado contexto, tornam-se cada vez mais numerosos e férteis.
