Pasaporte a la enseñanza de traducción en la clase de una lengua extranjera: una propuesta para la traducción audiovisual de Coraline en clases de inglés como LE/ESOL

A pesar de su estatus como “metodología no grata” en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras, la traducción tiene mucho que ofrecer en la clase de la segunda lengua. En este artículo, se argumenta que se puede reintroducir la traducción en el currículo de le enseñanza de inglés como segunda lengua o lengua extranjera, tras la reconsideración de conceptos pertinentes que incluyen tanto la fuente y el producto de traducción como un enfoque post-metodología en vez de un método exclusivista de la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras. A través de una serie de actividades basadas en la novela Coraline de Neil Gaiman, también se promueve el rol del maestro como motivador y animador de los alumnos como clave al usar la traducción en la enseñanza de una segunda lengua o lengua extranjera.Descargas
