The journal requires compliance with ethical issues involved in research. The following documents are taken into consideration:

  • Resolution No. 510, dated April 7, 2016, of the Brazilian National Health Council (CNS);

  • Resolution No. 466, dated December 12, 2012, of the Brazilian National Health Council (CNS).

Accordingly, in the case of research involving human subjects, the following is required:

  1. For research submitted to a Research Ethics Committee:

    1. Include in the body of the manuscript the approval number issued by the Research Ethics Committee to which it was submitted;

    2. It is recommended to include information regarding the ethical care adopted by the authors during the research process.

  2. For research not submitted to a Research Ethics Committee:

    1. Include a section in the manuscript addressing research ethics. It is recommended to read Chapter 23 of the e-book "Ethics and Research in Education: Guidelines – Vol. 1" (available at this link). Volume 3 is available via ANPED at this link.

Ethical guidelines specifically concerning authors, reviewers, and editors are described in the "Guidelines" sections.
