Abstract

This article aims to discuss the main peculiarities of Anthropology of mass consumer society according to the conceptions of Bauman, Bourdieu, Migueles, Ortega y Gasset, Kahneman, Ferreira, Affit Bittar, Gustavo Le Bon and De Jesus. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to present and confront the ideas of the authors that lead to these episodes called by thinkers and researchers of “mass society”, episodes that occur in the life of the human. In this article, we intend to discuss and reflect on the influential elements in society that interfere with the behavior and action of individuals regarding alienated consumption, which leads them to enter into mass societies, their performances that move them to lead with indifference to common matters, as well as questions of opinions and beliefs.
