Retraction

If any error committed by RPGE or by others is discovered, such as duplicate publication of articles, incomplete authorship information, or ethical misconduct by authors, the journal will have a period of 30 to 180 days to resolve the issue. The editorial team must be alerted to the failure via email. The time required for retraction will depend on the need for evaluation and new reviews.

Before the publication of articles, the final version of the manuscript is sent to the authors for approval.

The journal will publish, in the retractions section, the article title, the authors’ names, and their institutional affiliations in cases of plagiarism or self-plagiarism; as well as in cases where authors submit the same manuscript to other journals after receiving the letter of acceptance.

Furthermore, depending on the severity of the identified error, RPGE may contact the institutions with which the authors are affiliated, as well as inform the co-authors about the process.

The investigation process will proceed as follows:

At first, before initiating the process, the nature of the misconduct will be defined, for example: plagiarism, ideological falsehood, data manipulation, theft and misuse of articles by others, etc. Then:

  1. Review the submission and the entire initial and peer review process;

  2. Verify all communications with the authors;

  3. Check the similarity report;

  4. Compare with any complaints, whether anonymous or identified, against the entire editorial process;

  5. Issue a technical and scientific investigation report;

  6. Engage in dialogue with the authors and identified whistleblowers, if any, or with those responsible for the original credit;

  7. Hold a meeting with the journal’s editorial and scientific committee to decide on the retraction.
