Abstract

The article reports the results of a study on the formation of independence in older preschool children by means of animation. The content of the concepts of “preschoolers’ independence” and its structural components is revealed. The potential of animated films in the formation of independence in 5-7-year-old children is demonstrated. The authors describe an experimental study focusing on the implementation of a specially developed program “Cartoons about the most important” aimed at the formation of all structural components of independence in older preschoolers.
